Kings Dominion and Virginia Crossings Resort... A Perfect Pair!
Headed to Kings Dominion, which could very well be a day trip, however, we
decided to take advantage of the park for two days.

                           We stayed overnight at the
gorgeous Virginia Crossings Resort... Richmond's Premier Resort.
The resort offers fabulous Family Packages including fun-filled Kings
Dominion Specials, Golf Packages and Romance Packages.  The guest rooms are elegant
and comfortable and the staff was very pleasant.  The golf course was voted
Richmond's Best Public Golf Course, located in the midst of American Civil War
battlefields, The Crossings Golf Club is designed by Joe Lee and is an 18 hole
championship course.  The gorgoeus hotel also offers an outdoor pool,
whirlpool, racquetball court, tennis and basketball courts, fitness center, a
restaurant and a lounge.  Call or check on line for special rates.

Kings Dominion is more thrilling then ever! We headed
first to the new Scooby Doo and The Haunted Mansion... the entire family will
enjoy this interactive ride.  The roller coasters offered at Kings Dominion
will excite and delight everyone in your group. From The Hurler and Rebel Yell
to The Volcano and Flight of Fear, which by the way, is mostly in the dark, we
were thoroughly entertained and excited to ride them over and over again!
There is plenty to do in Kidzville for the younger family members and
Nickelodeon Central was loads of fun, as well. We loved the 3-D Sponge Bob
Squarepants Movie where the seats actually moved with the movie... cool.
Waterworks, Kings Dominion's water park, is a day adventure in itself. There
are a large variety of water slides, Big Wave Bay, Lazy Rider, Lil' Barefoot
Beach, Kiddie Cove and Surf City Splash House that will have the whole family
cooling off in no time.  There are lounge chairs if mom or dad want to rest up
while the kids play their hearts out.

International Street offers souvenirs and a variety of food including ice
cream, pizza, Boardwalk Fries, funnel cakes and Philly Steaks.  The Eiffel Tower
is also here... ride it to the top for a view of the entire park.  Kings
Dominion is open through October 31.
Make it a fun-filled day or make it two... but bring your family to Kings
Dominion and create memories of your own!
