La Tasca Opens at Inner Harbor

The restaurant is beautiful or should I say muy bonita? True tapas has come to the Inner Harbor with the arrival of La Tasca Spanish Tapas Bar and Restaurant. With two locations already in nearby DC and Virginia, La Tasca has already earned an excellent reputation. Select from numerous tapas (small  dishes) to share or keep for your own! The restaurant with its warm colors, takes you away to Spain, as you dine by Baltimore's waterfront. With 12 kinds of Sangria, you can't go wrong. We sampled the red and white, just to be fair, both were exceptional. We ordered an assortment of dishes to share including Grilled Jumbo Shrimp ($9.95), Grilled Salmon ($6.75), Goat Cheese and Tomato Salad ($5.25), and a Spanish and Potato Omelet ($3.95). We also ordered the
vegetarian fried potatoes sauteed with peppers and onions ($3.95).  This was a perfect way to sample several of the items on the extensive menu ; they all were pleasantly presented and a delight to eat. What a fun way to dine! If you are still hungry, order more, but be sure to save room for dessert. The Dark Chocolate Truffle ($5.95), definitely big enough to share, however, you may not want to! By the way, the day that we dined there, two of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays (Jorge Cantu and Luis Ordaz) were seated next to us and happily posed for pictures.
La Tasca offers excellent  daily specials, with one of my favorites having to be on Wednesdays. Unlimited Tapas, for lunch or dinner (Lunch $20.06, Dinner $30.06), that's ALL you can eat, anything on the menu, what a deal! Javier Candon is the Area Manager, Christopher Nazashinski, Managing Partner and McCealaig O'Clisham is Director of Marketing. La Tasca also makes party trays, as they say "Eat a little, Drink a little and Have a lot of fun!" Visit www.latascausa.com
